Physical Donations


Donation Items We Can Accept
- Cots and cot-beds: Must accept mattress size 120x60cm or 140x70cm. They must be dismantled (into 5 or 7 pieces). Please ensure ALL bolts and screws are securely attached so they can be re-assembled safely. Instruction manuals are always welcomed
- Travel cots
- Moses baskets and stands
- Bedding and sheets for the above
- Prams / Double prams / Strollers with raincovers. They must be clean, free of mould, odour free with working brakes and a 5-point harness
- Baby and child clothing. All ages
- Baby and child footwear. All ages
- Unopened, sealed, in-date (at least 3 months) infant formula. No prescription or cows milk allergy formula please
- Baby food. Unopened, sealed and in-date (at least 3 months)
- Bottles, teats and other baby feeding items including sippy cups, bowls, plates etc
- Nappies / nappy pants upto size 8 and nappy bags
- Toiletries for babies and adult. Sealed and unopened. Eg: nappy cream, baby lotion, bubble bath, soap, shampoo, top to toe wash, shower gel, toothbrushes, toothpaste
- Sanitary products including maternity pads
- Breast pads. Sealed and unopened
- Slings & baby carriers with instructions
- Baby changing & hospital bags
- Baby bouncing chairs.
- Highchairs. Must be clean (including the straps) and free from any rips or tears
- Manual breast pumps
- Cold water, microwave or electric sterilisers.
- Small toys
- Playmats
- Teddies. Must be small and have a kite mark
- Books. Baby and children’s books are always welcome
- Maternity clothes
- Adult clothing, footwear, handbags, homewares, bric-a-brac and unwanted gifts for our charity shop
- Small working electrical items
Donation Items We DO NOT Accept
- Car Seats. Due to safety regulations we do not accept or provide them to the families we support
- Safety equipment such as safety gates or bed guards
- Sit in baby walkers. Due to safety reasons we do not accept or provide them to our families as they’re not recommended by Health Visitors
- Swinging cribs. These not easily dismantled and require special sized mattresses
- Next to me cribs, Snuzpods or similar. For the same reasons as above
- Used mattresses. The Lullaby Trust has established a link between used mattresses and SIDs (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome). We supply brand new with every referral
- Large toys or outdoor toys. The baby bank has very limited storage space. We also don’t know the individual circumstances of the families we help.
- Furniture such as single beds, drawers, baby changing units etc as we have limited storage space
